What kind of account do I have when I bank through OnePay? #
When banking through OnePay, you have a deposit account that includes a Checking section and a Savings section. Your Primary Savings, savings pockets, and goals may look or feel separate, but they are all part of your OnePay deposit account.
Does OnePay support joint accounts?#
At this time, OnePay does not offer joint accounts or the ability to add an authorized signer to an existing account.
Are OnePay deposit accounts FDIC insured?#
OnePay is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services through OnePay are provided by Coastal Community Bank and Lead Bank, Members FDIC. Approved deposit accounts are FDIC insured up to $250,000 per depositor through pass-through insurance at Coastal Community Bank and Lead Bank, Members FDIC, and, as applicable, their Sweep Partner Banks, if certain conditions have been met. FDIC insurance applies to the failure of an FDIC-insured bank, not OnePay.
Which banks does OnePay partner with?#
OnePay has partnered with Coastal Community Bank and Lead Bank to provide banking services. As the banking provider, Coastal Community Bank or Lead Bank is the bank where your account is held.
While Coastal Community Bank or Lead Bank holds your funds, OnePay services your account. If you have any issues or questions, please contact OnePay Customer Service or say Agent in Chat to be connected to a OnePay Specialist.
If you connect your OnePay deposit account to another financial institution to transfer funds, your account’s Routing and Transit Number (RTN) may be presented as OnePay, Coastal OnePay, Coastal Community Bank, or Lead Bank.
How do I find which bank holds my account?#
Your OnePay deposit account is held by either Coastal Community Bank or Lead Bank. To see which bank holds your account:
Tap Checking or Savings.
Tap the Settings icon in the upper-right corner.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen to find the name of your bank.
