When you bank through OnePay, you’ll see a Checking and a Savings section. These are demand deposit accounts, commonly referred to as checking accounts. Learn more about Banking through OnePay.

Nope! When you bank through OnePay, you won’t be charged monthly fees. We also don’t charge overdraft fees or require minimum balances.

There are fees for certain services (ex: ATM fees) but some fees can be avoided when you unlock Banking+.

OnePay is a financial technology company, not a bank, but our bank partners Coastal Community Bank and Lead Bank are FDIC members. Your deposits are FDIC-insured on a pass-through basis up to $250,000 at Coastal Community Bank or Lead Bank, Members FDIC.

Yes! OnePay Rewards give you an easy way to earn OnePay Points² on some of your favorite brands when you shop with your OnePay debit or Builder Card. Learn more about OnePay Rewards. You’re able to redeem the points you’ve earned for cash back directly into your deposit account through the OnePay app once you have 25 OnePay Points or more.

You can earn cash back with OnePay Rewards by shopping with your OnePay debit card and Builder Card at eligible merchants to earn OnePay Points. You can redeem these points for cash directly into your OnePay deposit account through the OnePay app.² Here are some ways customers who bank through OnePay can earn:

• Choose to earn 3% cash back on Walmart, dining, or gas at the start of each month — on up to $150 spent.⁶

• Automatic rewards: You’ll earn points automatically once you make a purchase at an eligible merchant.

• One-tap rewards: You’ll earn points when you activate the reward in the app and then make a purchase at an eligible merchant.

There’s no cap on the total amount of cash back you can earn through OnePay Rewards. However, certain rewards may have limits. For each reward, be sure to review reward details in the OnePay app or in promotional communications. Read the OnePay Rewards Terms for more information.

Open the OnePay app at the start of each month, pick Walmart, gas, or dining — and you’re all set! Please note that you’ll need to select your category each month before you can earn cash back on it.

Earn 3% cash back on your chosen category on up to $150 spent per month.⁶ After reaching the $150 cap, you'll earn 1 point per $10 spent in that category for the rest of the month.

You do need to select a cash back category each month in order to earn cash back towards that category.

You can choose the same category each month, or switch it up!

Builder Card helps you build your credit¹ without any interest or monthly fees. Here’s how it works:

• Your Checking balance will generally be the amount you can use for Builder Card purchases. If you are eligible for fee-free Overdraft, OnePay Advance, or use Savings Backup, you will also have access to these features.

• When you make a purchase with your Builder Card, the amount of the purchase is moved from your Checking balance to your Builder Card Lockbox subaccount, and those funds are no longer available to spend.

• Monthly autopayments use the funds in your Builder Card subaccount to automatically pay off your Builder Card balance, which can support positive payment activity.

• Unless you opt out, OnePay reports your Builder Card payment history to TransUnion®, Experian®, and Equifax®. Timely payments may help build credit, but credit score improvement is not guaranteed and depends on your overall financial behavior.¹

Building credit takes time, so it’s normal not to see any change in your credit score at first. Your Builder Card will usually show up on your credit report within 60 days from when you’re signed up for Builder Card. Everyone’s credit report and financial history are unique which means there is not a one size fits all answer to how quickly or how much Builder Card can help build your credit. Additionally, other changes to your credit report outside of Builder Card can also impact your score, and use of your Builder Card does not guarantee that your credit score will improve.¹
