Introducing Stablecoin Deposits Powered by Stripe
The speed of stablecoins. The simplicity of dollars.

When we introduced OnePay Next, we said we were tracking two tectonic plates moving at once: AI that can reason and act, and blockchain infrastructure that is rewiring how money moves. Our first experiment, OnePay for Agents, leaned into the first. This one leans into the second.
Starting today, select U.S. customers can use stablecoins to fund their OnePay Checking and receive the value as U.S. dollars. Send stablecoins from an external wallet to a deposit address, and they are converted to U.S. dollars and credited to your Checking balance within moments, with no conversion fees at launch*. We're starting with support for USDC across 12 blockchains, including Tempo, Base, Solana, and Ethereum, and will evaluate adding additional stablecoins over time.
How it works
Inside the app, users will find a "Deposit stablecoins" option within the Cash Control section. Send USDC over a supported blockchain network from an external wallet or exchange, and the value arrives in OnePay Checking as U.S. dollars, no separate stablecoin balance required.
This experience is powered by Stripe’s broader stablecoin infrastructure. OnePay uses Bridge, Stripe’s stablecoin orchestration platform, to create and secure deposit addresses. Bridge receives the incoming stablecoin, runs the necessary compliance checks, and handles the conversion to U.S. dollars. OnePay then credits the Checking balance. In most cases the money shows up within moments.
Why it matters
Recent industry reporting shows stablecoins generated roughly $1.79 trillion in adjusted transaction volume in June, up 125% year over year, signaling growing utility for these assets. Further, an increasing number of gig workers, freelancers, and anyone on a platform that moves money across borders are being paid in stablecoins. OnePay is excited to support a growing number of such use cases. Until now, that value sat one step outside the banking system: fast to receive, slow to spend. Converting it meant a separate exchange, extra steps, and fees, all to settle the money users already earned.
Stablecoin deposits on OnePay closes that gap. Crypto in, dollars out, ready when it lands and credited to the same balance used to pay bills, send money, and save. That's the blockchain thesis behind OnePay Next in one product: faster infrastructure, fewer intermediaries, and complexity that disappears before it ever reaches users.
Stripe’s stablecoin stack provides OnePay with a set of pre-built integrations that enable its customers to use stablecoins interoperably with their existing fiat balances.
Stablecoin deposits came out of the incubator the way we said products would: a small team, a short clock, and a real capability tested with real customers. The future of money gets built in small steps.
