What is the Refer-a-Friend Program?#

Eligible customers who bank through OnePay can earn cash back by referring friends to open a OnePay deposit account. When eligible customers refer a friend through the app, and the friend opens an account using the referral link, they must complete any required actions within the time period displayed in the OnePay app, and you can both receive cash back, earned as OnePay Points. If eligible, you can view your current Refer-a-Friend offer and details in the Discover tab of the OnePay app.

How do I refer a friend to bank through OnePay?#

To refer a friend to bank through OnePay, follow these steps:

• Open the OnePay app

• Tap on the Discover tab

• Tap Invite Friends button

• Tap Sync to continue to sync your contacts with OnePay if you haven’t already

• Select the contact of the friend you’d like to refer, and send them the SMS that contains your unique link

Alternatively, you can access the referral screen by tapping Checking or Savings on the Home screen, and then then Settings icon in the the upper-right corner. Tap Invite friends to OnePay option.

How many Refer-a-Friend bonuses can I earn?#

You may be eligible to earn multiple referral bonuses, and the number of bonuses and points you can earn may vary. You can check your referral details anytime in the Discover tab of the OnePay app.

How is the Referral Bonus earned?#

To earn a Referral Bonus, the person you refer must begin banking through OnePay and sign up using your unique referral link, and receive $500 or more in monthly direct deposits within 45 days of opening their account.

• For referrals made before October 1, 2026: The referred customer can qualify by either receiving $500 or more in qualifying direct deposits per month or by meeting the applicable $5,000 savings balance requirement within the 45-day eligibility period to earn the bonus.

• For referrals made on or after October 1, 2026: The referred customer must receive $500 or more in qualifying direct deposits per month within 45 days of opening their account to earn the bonus.

Once the referred customer meets the eligibility requirements and Direct Deposit benefits, both you and the referred customer will receive OnePay Points, which can be redeemed for cashback. The number of points awarded will be shown in the OnePay app.

Note: You can earn a maximum of 10 Referral Bonuses.

When will I receive my referral bonus?#

You will receive your Refer-a-Friend bonus within 5 business days of when the person you invited begins banking through OnePay, and completes any required actions in the time period stated in the OnePay app. If the person you referred must make a purchase, you will be paid after that purchase is settled and no longer pending. You can check the status of your referrals in the OnePay app.
