What are Direct Deposit benefits?#
OnePay offers additional features that can be unlocked when you receive at least $500 in qualifying direct deposits within a month. Once you meet this requirement, you may become eligible for benefits such as Mobile Check Deposit, Cash Advance, Overdraft Protection, and 3% cash back in OnePay Points on qualifying non-Walmart purchases made with their CashRewards Credit Card through December 31, 2026.
Do customers with Direct Deposit benefits get higher OnePay Advance limits?#
OnePay Advance limits are set automatically and cannot be increased upon request.Â
You may be eligible for higher Advance limits over time when you:
Receive eligible Direct deposit benefits for multiple months
Increase the amount you direct deposit into your OnePay deposit account
Once I meet the requirements for Direct Deposit benefits, when will I start receiving the benefits?#
The timing of when you receive Direct Deposit benefits depends on when you received the direct deposit into your OnePay account:
If you receive $500 or more in direct deposits in a calendar month, you will unlock Direct Deposit benefits for the rest of that month and the following month.
What does OnePay consider a Direct Deposit?#
A Direct Deposit can be any of the following:
Paychecks from an employer
Spark Driver earnings
Gig platform payments like Uber, Lyft, DoorDash
@Work Instapay payments
@Work Save contributions
Social security income
Government salary
Recurring government payments such as annuitiesÂ
Retirement paymentsÂ
Unemployment paymentsÂ
Payments or transfers through person-to-person providers such as Venmo, PayPal or Cash App are not considered a Direct Deposit. Cash deposits, mobile check deposits, wire transfers, One to One transfers, and ACH funding or debit card funding transfers initiated from the OnePay app also do not qualify as Direct Deposits. ACH micro deposits (under $1) will also not be counted as Direct Deposits.
