Where can I deposit cash?#
You can deposit cash fee-free into your OnePay Cash account at any Walmart in the United States, as well as CVS, Dollar General, and other participating locations. Tap Cash Control from the Home screen of your OnePay app, then select Deposit Cash to see participating retailers.

How do I deposit cash with my OnePay Debit Card or Builder Card?#
To view nearby deposit locations in the app, open Cash Control in the OnePay app
Select Deposit cash
Enable your location services or enter your zip code
You’ll see a list of nearby locations where you can make free cash deposits to your OnePay Cash account
Take your OnePay Debit Card or Builder Card to any cashier or customer service desk
Let the retailer know that you would like to deposit cash into your OnePay Cash account and the amount
Insert your OnePay Debit Card or Builder Card and enter your PIN in the register’s PIN pad
Hand your cash to the retailer and confirm the amount you are depositing in the register’s PIN pad
Once the transaction is complete, your funds will be available in your Spend balance.
How do I deposit cash using my OnePay app?#
If you don’t have your OnePay debit card, you can generate a barcode in the OnePay app to deposit cash at Walmart, CVS, Dollar General, and other participating retailers:
Open Cash Control in the OnePay app
Select “Deposit cash”
Enable location services if prompted or input your zip code
Select the merchant you’d like to visit to deposit cash
Show the barcode that is displayed to a cashier at Walmart, CVS, Dollar General, or another participating retailer
If your barcode expires, just repeat these steps to generate a new barcode
The retailer will scan your barcode and confirm the amount you are depositing (valid ID needed)
Once approved, hand the retailer your cash, and the funds will be deposited.
You can also tap here and select the Deposit Cash icon to deposit cash in the OnePay app.
Is there a limit to how much cash I can deposit?#
Each retailer has their own limit for depositing cash via barcode and swipe. Check for specific limits just below the merchant name in the OnePay app.
Are there any fees to deposit cash into my OnePay account?#
There are no fees for depositing cash into your OnePay account.
Can I deposit cash into my OnePay deposit account using an ATM?#
No, cash deposits can only be made using your OnePay debit card or an in-app generated barcode at US Walmart, CVS, Dollar General, and other participating retailers. Tap Cash Control from the Home screen of your OnePay app, then select Deposit Cash to see participating retailers near you.
