Can I deposit a check with OnePay?#

OnePay offers mobile check deposit to customers with OnePay Cash+. If you are eligible for OnePay Cash+, tap here to deposit a check.

What are the mobile check deposit limits?#

Customers with OnePay Cash+ benefits for less than 3 consecutive calendar months:

  • Daily total and per check: $500

  • Weekly: $1,000 (rolling 7-day period)

  • Monthly: $2,000 (rolling 30-day period)

Customers eligible for OnePay Cash+ benefits for 3 or more consecutive calendar months:

  • Daily total and per check: $2,000

  • Weekly: $5,000 (rolling 7-day period)

  • Monthly: $10,000 (rolling 30-day period)

How can I access mobile check deposit?#

Customers that receive OnePay Cash+ benefits are eligible for Mobile check deposit. If eligible, Mobile check deposit will automatically be turned on for your account. 

To deposit a check:

  • Endorse (sign) the back of the check

  • Open the OnePay app

  • Select Cash Control

  • Choose Deposit Check

  • Enter the amount of the check

  • Select where you want to deposit the check 

  • Tap Continue

  • Tap on the Front of check and Back of check and follow the instructions to take pictures of the check you are depositing

    • If you have trouble taking pictures of the check that are accepted by the app, try the following:

      • Center the check on a solid dark surface

      • Make sure you have plenty of light

      • Make sure the entirety of the check is pictured within the frame on the screen

  • Tap Continue

  • Tap Yes to confirm the deposit information is correct or tap Make a change

I can’t deposit my check in the app. Is there another option?#

If you're having trouble depositing your check in the app, you may still be able to cash it at Walmart. Once you’ve cashed your check, you can add the funds to your OnePay Cash account.

How do I check the status of a check I deposited?#

You'll receive a confirmation email that we received your check. To check the status of a mobile check deposit in the OnePay app:

  • Navigate to the section where the check was deposited

  • Select the check deposit transaction from your activity to view the status of the check

Shortly after your check is reviewed, the OnePay app will display the date your funds will be available. Funds availability may take up to 5 business days after approval.
