There are many options when it comes to transferring money in and out of your OnePay Spend and Savings.

Will I receive notifications about transfers on my account?#
OnePay customers may receive alerts regarding actions taken on their account. To receive and action these alerts, turn on notifications during account setup or in your phone's settings.
External transfers to and from a linked account#
Transfers initiated within the OnePay app where funds are transferred from a linked bank to your OnePay Cash account take between 2 and 5 business days.
Transfers initiated within the OnePay app where funds are transferred from your OnePay Cash account to a linked bank usually take 1-3 business days to arrive at your external bank account.
Most banks will allow you to send money to your OnePay Cash account. These transfers, initiated from an external bank, typically take between 1 and 3 business days.
For transfers initiated from an external bank where funds are being withdrawn from your OnePay Cash account, OnePay will transfer the funds out of your OnePay Cash account right away; however, the receiving bank may take several days to make the funds available.
Can I cancel a transfer to and from a linked account?#
Pending transfers can be canceled in the OnePay app:
Navigate to the section or pocket where you initiated the transfer and select the transfer
If the transfer can be canceled, the transfer summary will show the transfer as PENDING
If the transfer cannot be canceled, the transfer summary will show that the transfer is IN PROGRESS and unable to be canceled
Click on the Cancel Transfer button
You will receive a pop-up confirmation message that your transfer has been canceled
What are my Instant Transfer limits?#
Instant Transfer from OnePay to an external account (Debit OCT)
Send up to 10 transactions per day
First 30 days after account opening – send up to $2,500 during the first 30 days
Users who have received eligible direct deposits of $500 or more per month for three consecutive months – send up to $10,000 per month (rolling 30 days)
All other OnePay customers – send up to $5,000 per month (rolling 30 days)
Instant Transfer to OnePay from an external account (Debit AFT)
Instant Transfers from a linked debit card or digital wallet to a OnePay Cash account are limited to a maximum of $5,000 per month (rolling 30 days).
$1 minimum transfer amount (first 30 days after Account opening)
$25 transaction minimum (starting 31 days after Account opening)
Why was my transfer canceled?#
Sometimes financial institutions can’t allow us to verify your balance via Plaid. If we are unable to verify the funds, the transfer will be canceled. Make sure the external account has sufficient funds when you initiate the transfer.
Additionally, recurring transfers will be cancelled after 4 consecutive failures and will have to be set up again.
Instant transfers to and from a linked debit card#
How do I link a debit card to my OnePay Cash account?#
To link a debit card:
Select Cash Control in the OnePay app
Choose Linked accounts
Tap Add a debit card
Enter your debit card number, expiration date, and security code or scan your debit card
NOTE: Any Visa or Mastercard debit product can be used for instant transfers, also known as Debit OCT. Discover and American Express debit products are not supported, nor are any prepaid debit cards.Select Add Debit card, and you will see your new debit card linked and available to transfer funds instantly
You will now see your linked debit card as an account option when initiating a transfer.
Are there any fees to use the Instant transfer feature?#
Instant Transfers sent from a linked debit card to your OnePay Cash account are fee-free. Instant Transfers sent from your OnePay Cash account to a linked debit card are charged a Bank transfer to a linked account via Debit OCT (Instant Transfer) Fee of 1.75% of the total transfer amount, with a minimum fee of $0.25 per transaction.
Is there a minimum amount for Instant Transfers into OnePay?#
There is a minimum transfer amount of $1 for Instant Transfers into OnePay during the first 31 days after account opening. After that, a $25 minimum applies to incoming transfers from a linked debit card or digital wallet.
How do I transfer money between Spend and Savings?#
To transfer funds between your OnePay Savings and Spend balances:
Open the OnePay app
Select Cash Control
Choose Move money
Choose Internal Transfer
Enter the amount and select the source where the funds are coming from
Select Continue and choose the destination
Select Transfer
You can also tap here, select Transfer, and follow the on-screen instructions in the OnePay app.
How do I use Apple Pay to add money?#
To add money to your account instantly using digital wallets like Google Pay or Apple Pay:
Open the OnePay app
Select Cash Control
Select Add Money
Enter the amount you wish to transfer and select the appropriate destination
Select the connected digital wallet from the Add money from list and follow the on-screen instructions
Why can’t I use my Capital One debit card to receive instant transfers from OnePay Cash?#
Only Visa and Mastercard debit cards are currently eligible to receive instant transfers from OnePay Cash.
Some Capital One debit cards have moved from Mastercard to the Discover network, so they are not eligible to receive instant transfers.
If your card isn’t eligible, you can still add money by:
Linking a bank account
Using an eligible Visa or Mastercard debit card
If instant transfer isn’t available, you’ll see other funding options in the app.
