What's changing?#
Starting August 1, benefits that were previously part of Banking+ are now available to more customers:
Newly available to all customers who bank through OnePay1:
Earn 3% cash back on Walmart, dining, and gas purchases (up to $150 spent / month)2
Earn 3.35% APY on your Savings balance3
Free cardless withdrawals: Take out cash using a barcode at any Walmart Money Center or Customer Service desk for free.
Access to Credit Builder Loans (only available to customers that started banking through OnePay before 9/1/26)
We’re also simplifying things - all these features are available with one straightforward requirement of $500 or more in monthly direct deposits:

What happens to Banking+?#
Beginning August 1, 2026, Banking+ is retired. You don't need to do anything, and you will continue earning all the same benefits you did before.
Can I still earn 3% cash back?#
Yes. Beginning August 1, 2026, all customers who bank through OnePay can choose to earn 3% cash back on eligible Walmart, gas, or dining purchases, up to $150 spent / month.2
Do I still earn 3.35% APY on Savings?#
Yes. All customers who bank through OnePay continue to earn 3.35% APY on Savings and Pay Autosave balances.3
What happens to my Credit Builder Loan?#
If you already have a Credit Builder Loan, nothing changes. Your loan continues until the end of its scheduled term.
If you opened your deposit account before September 1, 2026, you may still be eligible to enroll in a Credit Builder Loan, if available.
Will I still get paid early?#
Yes, nothing changes there. Customers who direct deposit to their OnePay account will get paid up to 2 days early.7
Why doesn't the app mention Banking+ anymore?#
We're simplifying the Banking experience by retiring the Banking+ program.
Many benefits are now available to more customers who bank through OnePay, while other features are now based on qualifying direct deposits instead of Banking+ membership.
These updates are reflected in your latest Deposit Account Agreement.
