Accessing Your OnePay Cash Funds Without a Card

How do I access the money in my OnePay Cash account without my OnePay Debit Card or Builder Card?#

While you wait for your OnePay Debit Card or Builder Card to arrive, or if you prefer to go cardless, you can access the money in your OnePay Cash account in many ways, including the following:

Virtual Card
Barcode Cash Withdrawal at Walmart
Transfer funds to/from an external account
Peer-to-peer payment apps

Virtual Card#

All OnePay Cash customers have a virtual debit card that is connected to their Spend balance. You can use your virtual card anywhere you can enter card information to complete a purchase. You can also add your virtual card to your digital wallet to make contactless purchases in person.

Where is my virtual debit card?#

To see your virtual card information:

Tap OnePay Cash in the OnePay app
Tap the card icon at the top right
Tap “Virtual debit card”
Toggle the "Show card number" button ON

How do I add my virtual debit card to my mobile wallet?#

To add your OnePay virtual debit card to Apple Pay on an iPhone:

On the home screen, select Use OnePay with Apple Pay and add to Apple Wallet
Follow the on-screen prompts

To add your OnePay virtual debit card to Google Pay on an Android device:

On the home screen, select Use OnePay with Google Pay to add to your Google wallet
Follow the on-screen prompts

You can add your OnePay virtual debit card to a digital wallet in the OnePay app by tapping here and selecting Add to Apple Wallet or Google Pay.

To add your OnePay virtual debit card to Samsung Pay

Open the Samsung Pay app on your phone
Tap Menu on the top left and tap Cards
Tap Add Cards and then on Add Credit/Debit card
Follow the on-screen prompts

Barcode Cash Withdrawal#

You can use your OnePay app to generate a barcode which can be used to withdraw cash at participating Money Centers or Customer Service Desks at Walmart.

How do I withdraw cash using a barcode at Walmart?#

You can withdraw cash from your OnePay Cash account without your Debit Card or Builder Card using Barcode Cash Withdrawal:

Open Cash Control in the OnePay app
Choose Withdraw Cash
Enter the amount you wish to withdraw
A barcode will be generated that you will take to a Walmart Customer Service or a Money Center Associate
The Walmart Associate will scan your barcode and verify your identity*
Once approved, you will receive your requested cash along with a receipt for your transaction

You can also tap here, then tap the Withdraw Cash icon and enter the amount.

Fees for this feature are waived for all customers in the first 30 days after account opening. Plus Customers who are eligible for OnePay Cash+ benefits, Walmart Associates, and delivery drivers on the Spark Driver® platform are also eligible for a fee waiver.

If you are not eligible for a fee waiver, you will be charged a $3 Cash Out fee. See additional information on fees in our Deposit Account Agreement.

*You will need to verify your identity using an accepted form of government-issued ID, such as a state ID, driver’s license, military ID, OR a social security card, along with a US government-issued picture ID or U.S. passport.

Transfer funds#

To transfer funds to an external account, you will need to link the account to your OnePay Cash account.

How do I link my external account to my OnePay Cash account?#

To connect your external bank to OnePay:

Open Cash Control in the OnePay app
Select Linked Accounts
Select Add Bank Account
You should see a popup: OnePay uses Plaid to link your bank
Select: Get started
Use the search field to find your external bank and enter your login credentials for your external account to finish the process

You can also tap here and select Add Bank Account. Then select Get Started and use the search field to find your external bank and enter your login information.

Typically, transfers out of your OnePay Cash account take 1-3 business days, while transfers into your OnePay Cash account take 2-5 business days. Please be sure that any external accounts connected to your OnePay Cash account are in your name.

How do I use OnePay with peer-to-peer payment apps like Zelle, Cash App, Venmo, and others?#

You can send funds to and from your OnePay Cash account using peer-to-peer payment apps such as Cash App, Venmo, Paypal, and others by linking your OnePay Debit Card or account and routing numbers.

OnePay does not charge any fees for peer-to-peer transfers, but the peer-to-peer service may.

We are not directly integrated with Zelle. As a result, some transfers to and from your OnePay Cash account may not be supported. You may not be able to use your Builder Card for peer-to-peer payments; Builder Card customers can use their virtual debit card instead.
